Kill the Messenger Soundtrack

A selection from the music score I wrote for “Kill the Messenger”, a 90-minute documentary which I also edited.

The film tells the story of FBI whistle-blower Sibel Edmonds. It was directed by Mathieu Verboud and Jean-Robert Viallet in 2006.

Writing the music was basically an exercise in deadline-induced madness. I wrote and recorded it in my home-studio in two weeks, each day between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. after coming back from the editing room.

I like the shipment, main theme is interesting, a little jazz a little new electronic, state secret privilege I liked more, that drones.

The only “film“ Composers I´m aware of are http://www.elliottsharp.com/, John Zorn and Ennio Morricone, but only from those cowbow movies.
